I need feminism because “Who hired a stripper” shouldn’t be the first thing said to me when I walk into a welding job.

women in trades are treated like absolute shit.

NO I’M STILL STUCK ON THIS WHY WOULD ANYONE SAY THIS TO A WOMAN HOLDING A BLOWTORCH

Client: I threw out that black pen, it was out of ink.

Me: What black pen?

Client: The one that was lying on your tablet.

Me: You threw out my $150 Wacom pen?

Client: I tried writing with it and it didn’t work. It must’ve been out of ink.

this almost made me cry

this is simultaenously the best and worst submission i’ve ever seen from Clients from Hell.

I feel ill

Pushing Daisies is really relatable to me b/c I also struggle with the fact that I can’t touch Lee Pace.

To those who don’t understand the difference between DC and Marvel,

WITHIN THE SAME WEEK.

I MEAN tbh, don’t leave either of them alone. both companies are helmed primarily by white men, and both companies fail to represent marginalized groups on a broad scale. it’s true that upholding marvel as this “paragon” of inclusivity at the expense of dc is misguided behavior–but not because dc fits that mold any better; it doesn’t. this is a misconception because it fundamentally misunderstands the fact that the issue lies within the comic book industry; these problems (the profound lack of respectful representation, the pushback against fans from minority demographics, the sexism and racism and erasure of queer characters) are pervasive, and the big two are the biggest offenders when it comes to perpetuating them.

like, why make this a game of “which one is less offensive?” when we could save time admitting that they’re both at fault
